This is me at the District III Cross Country Championships. Please realize I am running, and I don't look very attractive... ;-) I got 162nd place out of 210 runners (bad, bad, bad!).

Hi, I am Jamie. I'm 16 years old and almost in the eleventh grade. I like sports, school, reading, and playing on my computer, just to name a few things. I have a lot of friends that I like to talk to. I really like ICQ, if you'd like to message me, my number is 81202483, my name is astrojamie.

I love sports, they are practically my life. My favorite sport is cross country (I'm not good at it, though... my best time for a 5-K was 24:50). I am now in basketball (I'm usually a forward, except for when they want to confuse me and make me play somewhere else and I end up looking even more like an idiot than usual), this is my first year of playing it, and I have to play on my school's varsity team because not enough people went out to have a jv team. That did not make me happy. I'm doing rather well for me, but compared to everyone else, I'm horrible. That's okay, though. In track I run distance. I'm in the 1600m run, 4 x 800m relay, javelin, and sometimes the 800m run too. Next year I want to try pole vault, that looks awesome. I also play softball, but not for my school, just a local town league. I mostly play outfield, but I also pitch and play wherever my team needs me. I watch Major League Baseball, I am an Orioles and Mariners fan. My favorite players are Ken Griffey, Jr. (the traitor, leaving Seattle and going to where? Cincinnatti! Of all places!) and Alex Rodriguez. I just like all sports for the most part, except for football, I can't stand football! :-)

Let's see, I am not in school right now because of something called... summer vacation! And I am bored, which is why I am updating this, I have nothing better to do. In school, I like sciences that are more in the area of Physics. Since the fourth grade I have decided to become an astronomer, and I might become one, I'm not quite so sure anymore. I'd like to go to Penn State for a couple years, then to the University of Arizona to get my Ph.D. in either Astronomy or Physics. I have a lot of work ahead of me, unfortunately.

:-) Thank you for visiting! :-)

I'm also going to try and add some more stuff soon! When I get some time finally!
